Revival of ‘Friends of Colne Valley’ community resilience project to increase cafe revenue

Increase volunteer numbers and build resilience by tackling loneliness and isolation in the
community

Planning and organising family events to promote awareness of the environment, coordinating ‘Green and Wild’ children’s parties and complementary fundraising events to
activate green spaces and youth engagement

As co-founder of Dream Earth Project, an eco-charity project born during the lockdown. My partner
and I work with national food redistribution networks Neighbourly and Fareshare, co-ordinating
an army of local volunteers to collect surplus food from our partners Waitrose, M&S, Tescos,
Coop and others and redistribute across Hillingdon, Harrow, and Hertfordshire through food
stalls and direct to families in unexpected difficulties.
